Plans
Just three weeks left on this Euro trip and got the following plans set to go. Will be in Bergen, Norway this coming Monday. Going to Oslo June 8-18. The second weekend (June 15-17) planning to hit Stockholm, then back in Stavanger and to Houston 22 June. I mean June 22. That's what so much time in Europe can do to you...

Sounds like you 'll be well occupied for next few weeks. Will you be in Bergen for just one day and then back to Stravanger before going to Oslo ? Looks like B is approx. 100 miles and O about 200. Will you drive alone or w/ company ? Same
ReplyDeletefor your sojourn into Sweden - about 250 miles. Wonder if they have border customs agents, passports needed ? I'm assuming about driving - perhaps trains?

You could drive or take train but we just fly. You can even take a speedboat to Bergen. Shouldn't be any customs or agents as the EU members just let you go right in. Only hassle was flying from US into Amsterdam. Drives of short distances here much longer than normal due to lack of wide highways like in US (to discourage driving lest climate change.....) Also fjords jutting into country require ferries be taken, another hassle and slow down.
