Euro Pricing Moment Quiz + Joke of the day

Here's a pop quiz to think about over the weekend, or not.  Which of the below shocked me the most regarding shockingly priced items in Norway:

a)  One month gym membership for $130
b)  A Burger King whopper meal for $16
c)  Some small strange type of definitely non-American snack resembling chips in a vending machine for $6 (with Snickers bar costing a paltry $5 next to it).

Answer:  Well you know it's all of the above.  And this is just tip of the iceberg. I'm sure more stories to come on this topic.

On a lighter note - all this multiple choice stuff reminds me of an old joke - You've just been assigned to produce the gala called "Night of the 99 Stars".  You've just signed your 98th star when in walks Eva and Zsa Zsa Gabor.  What do you do?   a) Sign Eva   b) Sign Zsa Zsa   c) change the name of the show to "Night of the 98 Stars"....

  1. Gosh Paul, with prices like that you better plan on doing some cooking or soliciting CARE packages from the U.S. Thanks for blogging. Glad you started this!
